Mumbai, 18th September. Senior and popular Hindi and Marathi litterateur Dr. Damodar Khadse was felicitated with the prestigious “Rashtriya Hindi Seva Samman” award by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in a dignified ceremony held at Ravindra Bhavan in Bhopal.
Giving this information, the popular literary magazine Srujanika’s Editor Dr. Amrish Sinha stated that this prestigious award includes an honorarium amount of Rs. 5 lakh and a citation. On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh’s Culture Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi was also present as a special guest. So far about forty books of Dr. Damodar Khadse have been published, which include novels, stories, poems, reviews, memoirs and books on various languages. Translations of his works have been published in Indian languages as well as in English. Dr. Khadse has also translated about twenty four Marathi books into Hindi and has also edited Marathi special issues of some Hindi magazines. On getting this important award, Dr. Khadse is continuously receiving hearty congratulations and felicitations at various levels
