This national convention was inaugurated by Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot in the presence of Vishwa Sant Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati, Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra Government Mangalprabhat Lodha, International President of the organization Dr. Manju Lodha and Brahmachari Devendra Bhai. On this occasion, various litterateurs, writers, poets, industrialists, educationists, social workers and politicians from the country and abroad were present. World Peace Ambassador Acharya Lokesh Muni said that literature has always played a significant role in nation building and human welfare. He said that from the freedom struggle of India to the present times, whenever there is a need for change in the society, literature has been at the forefront. He said that the pen is more powerful than the sword and it is commendable that the International Jain Sahitya Sangam is making a significant contribution in the field of literature by following the path of non-violence. Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot said that literature has been playing an important role in the reconstruction of society and with the help of literature, there is a live expression of social reforms and major social events along with a realistic portrayal of society.

Expressing gratitude to all, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra Government and Head of Lodha Foundation, said that this convention has emerged as a unique confluence of literature, spirituality and culture, where Jain writers, scholars and art lovers from the country and abroad have come together on one platform. He said that Lodha Foundation is continuously working for the upliftment of literature and culture. Brahmachari Devendra Bhai said that many literatures related to yoga such as Vedas, Upanishads, Yoga Sutra Smritis, teachings of Buddhism and Jainism, epic and Puranic literature have kept yoga alive and have also made it reach the masses. International President of International Jain Sahitya Sangam, Dr. Manju Mangalprabhat Lodha said that this organization has been organizing literary programs like Kavi Sammelan, Scholar Seminar, Women Cultural Conference, Book Exhibition and release of works from time to time, which are continuously proving helpful in taking Jain literature to new heights. National President of the organization Jagdeep Jain ‘Harshdarshi’, Manoj Jain ‘Manokaamna’, all the organizers and workers played an active role in the success of this important event and expressed gratitude to Lodha Foundation for organizing the convention at Lodha Dham.
On this occasion, Dilip Dhing was given a special award for his significant contribution in the field of literature. During the program, Dr. Manju Mangal Prabhat Lodha’s new book “Nirmal Man Mein Vaas Karte Hain Bhagwan” was also released. On this occasion, tree plantation was also done by various guests. During this convention, creative activities like spiritual pilgrimage, collective Jinalaya Darshan, reports by state units, felicitation ceremony, kavi sammelan, seminar and cultural presentations in various genres by women members were successfully organized.
