Mumbai, 22nd January. The elegant drama ‘Satya-Ahimsa Ke Sath Gandhiji’ written by senior litterateur of Mumbai Metropolitan & member of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy, Mumbai, Mrs. Pramila Sharma and staged by the students of Ryan International School, Chembur, was awarded the prestigious award in the drama competition organized by “Gandhi Memorial Fund and Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum”.It is noteworthy that more than one hundred schools and junior colleges of Mumbai participated in various competitions organized by “Gandhi Memorial Fund and Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum”. Various winners of the competitions were awarded by former Judge of Mumbai High Court, Gautam Patel in the prize distribution ceremony organized in the auditorium of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at Charni Road on Tuesday, 21st January, 2025. Students of Ryan International School, Chembur staged the play ‘Satya-Ahimsa Ke Sath Gandhi Ji’ in the drama competition, which was highly appreciated by all the audience. Ryan School was awarded the second prize for the effective staging of this play.
This play, written by Mrs. Pramila Sharma, was directed by Ms. Nivedita Gangurde. The students who played important roles in this play and brought various characters to life include Aditi Shah, Tarini Srikant, Namish Katare, Anvi Fokmare, Hinal Oswal, Nivi Rathore, Ananya Bhosale, Manasvi Aagaaz, Aaradhya Tiwari and Ahmed Khan. In the drama competition, Aditi Shah, a student of Ryan International School, received the first prize for excellent anchoring.
