Mumbai, 29th January. With the aim of increasing awareness about road safety among students, a unique motivational program was organized at Ryan International School, Chembur under a special campaign by Maharashtra Traffic Police. Under this, various competitions were organized to educate the students about road safety rules and protocols, in which various students of Ryan International School performed excellently.
These competitions mainly included speech, essay writing, painting and slogan writing competitions, in which students participated enthusiastically in large numbers and displayed their creativity and understanding about road safety through their entries. The programme played a vital role in inculcating a sense of responsibility in the future generation of road users, thereby ensuring a safer environment for all. Students of Ryan International School won notable prizes in various competitions.
Siraj Gupta (Class 8C) won 1st place in Declamation Contest, Akhil Kochri (Class 8A) won 2nd place in Essay Writing Competition, Sharisa D’Lima (Class 7B) won Appreciation Award in Essay Writing Competition, Amaya Gupta (Class 7B) won 3rd place in Essay Writing Competition and Sushmita Dasgupta (Class 8C) won 3rd place in Essay Writing Competition. The participation and excellent performance of these students not only reflected their interest and dedication, but also brought forth the importance of road safety in daily life. Various guests speaking on the occasion said that the efforts made by Maharashtra Traffic Police to educate students about road safety are commendable. The long-term impact of these meaningful efforts will certainly play a big role in reducing accidents and promoting responsible road behaviour.
