Mumbai, 29th July. Another meaningful achievement has been added to the series of commendable activities of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy, Mumbai, which is constantly working for the growth and prosperity of Hindi language and literature. Under this, the two-day Nav Lekhak Camp and Training Class program organized by the Academy under the joint aegis of B.K. Birla Mahavidyalaya, Kalyan and All India Sahitya Parishad, was successfully completed on Sunday, 28 July, 2024.
In this important event, the researchers and new writers of both the languages were made aware of the processes of literary creation by the famous writers of Hindi and Marathi. The inauguration of this camp was done in the dignified presence of Dr. Naresh Chandra, Education Director of Birla Mahavidyalaya, Shridhar Paradkar, Organization Minister of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad, Delhi, Sunil Vare, Director General of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute, Pune and Dr. Shitala Prasad Dubey, Working President of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy. All the guests were welcomed by Principal Dr. Avinash Patil. The coordinator of the event Dr. Shyamsundar Pandey conducted the session and Praveen Deshmukh expressed his gratitude. On this occasion, Dr. Narendra Pathak, Nitin Kelkar, Dr. Baliram Gaikwad, Acting Registrar, Mumbai University and Dr. Bharti Gore, Dr. Shashikant Ghaskadvi, Dr. Purushottam Patil, Dr. Vijay Lohar and Dr. Rahul Mishra etc. were present as special guests. More than 150 writers and students of Hindi and Marathi were present in this camp divided into four sessions and different topics were discussed in all the sessions. The main speakers of these sessions were Rishikumar Mishra, General Secretary of All India Sahitya Parishad and Dr. Dinesh Pratap Singh, Executive Member of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy. At the end of the camp, more than 30 poets participating in the Kavi Sammelan won the applause of the people with their beautiful presentation. These poets mainly included Prajakta Kulkarni, Sanjay Dwivedi, Nitin Kelkar, Sumita Bhosale, Sunil Mhaskar, Dinanath Patil, Meenal Vasmatkar, Nanda Kokate, Kalpana Deshmukh, Chandrika Prasad Mishra, Rampyare Singh ‘Raghuvanshi’ and Praveen Pawar. This event was successfully completed with the active cooperation of Dr. Harish Dubey, Dr. Mahadev Yadav, Dr. Balkavi Suranje, Dr. Sitaram Mhaske, Dr. Grishma Khobragade, Dr. Samjhadar along with Rupesh Patil, Akhilesh, Preeti Savle, Mitali Sawant and Kavita etc. Professors. On this occasion, senior poets like famous Marathi writers Janardan Oak, Pramod Bapat, Neelambari Bapat, Madan Upadhyaya, Rampyare Singh ‘Raghuvanshi’ and Chandrika Prasad Mishra were also honored. Along with this, the book ‘Online Premachi Offline Kahani’ by young writer Praveen Patil was also released.
