The “JIWO Bazaar” exhibition organized by the South Mumbai Chapter of the International Organization of Women of Jain Society “Jain Women International Organization (JIWO)” at Avsar Hall, Nana Chowk, Mumbai on Tuesday, 24th September, 2024, was very successful and commendable, in which the wonderful joy of women power that came out in large numbers made this colorful fair memorable for everyone.
10 poor families got free stalls and wheel chairs were distributed to 8 needy persons
This attractive exhibition that lasted the whole day was inaugurated by Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha along with well-known social worker Sharmila Thackeray, Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, Rukmini Neil Mukesh and famous anchor and actress Simran Ahuja. Giving information about this, the President of the organization and famous litterateur Dr. Mrs. Manju Lodha stated that more than 5 thousand women and their families participated in this successful “JIWO Mela”. She stated that all the shopkeepers participating in this fair looked very happy due to good sales. Mrs. Lodha said that as an important initiative, 10 poor families were given free stalls by the organization in this fair, which was widely appreciated by everyone. In the successful organization of this fair, under the leadership of Dr. Manju Lodha, President of “JIWO”, Secretary Indra Khinvsara, Treasurer Usha Munot and other committee members Sangeeta Kothari, Manju Surana, Anita Poonamiya, Meena Bafna, Devina Shah, Anujha Zaveri, Seema Jain, Chanda Chopra, Veena Kothari, Lubdha Porwal, Sangeeta Jain, Khushboo Jain and Chandrashree played a significant role. Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to all the people present on this occasion, Dr. Manju Lodha expressed special thanks to Malti Bhinde, Archana Navalkar, Sumita Singh and Ms. Rita.
