After this, Padma Shri Ramesh Patange said in his speech that there are many countries in the world, but each has its own identity. Like Europe-America are known for their materialism, but India is a land of religion, therefore it is known as Tapobhoomi. From the time of Vedas till today, India is famous as a land of religion. He said that Mahavir ji has been the leader among the saints, Mahatmas and great men who contributed to keep it as a land of religion. That is why Mahavir ji’s ideas of non-violence have been given importance in the Indian Constitution and it is said in Article 21 that no one can be given death sentence without completing the process of law. Sunil Ambekar ji said in his address that Hindi Vivek is an initiative of ideological enlightenment. Through this, special issues and books are continuously published on relevant topics for nation, religion and social service and this work is remarkable and commendable. He said that the guidance given by Mahavir ji thousands of years ago is equally relevant even today. All the problems of the present time can be solved by following the principles given by him. Along with this, we will have to be conscious and determined towards cultural values of life. Lastly, Upadhyay Pt. Praveen Rishi Ji Maharaj in his blessings said that many countries in the world want to be victorious through power and weapons, but Lord Mahavir won over all with only the scriptures in the form of principles like self-restraint, truth, non-violence, non-possession, anekantavada etc. We should follow the principles of Mahavir Ji with a sense of duty while keeping a holistic view. Osho had said that the world has only two paths, one of Mahavir and the other of great destruction. While praising the work of Hindi Vivek, he said that we should not be limited to publishing only one special issue on the thoughts of Mahavir Ji, rather his thoughts should be visible in every issue. It is necessary to convey to the world what is the viewpoint of Mahavir Ji. Wisdom is religion and it is such a formula which teaches us to differentiate between right and wrong. He said that I congratulate Hindi Vivek for publishing a special issue on Tirthankar Lord Mahavir.
