National News : Mumbai, 11th August. A poetry conference and literary seminar was organized at Hanskripa Junior College, Nagpur on Saturday, 10th August, 2024 under the joint aegis of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy, Mumbai and Rural Women’s Multipurpose Institution, Nagpur. In this, a meaningful discussion was held on the role of literature in the current scenario along with various social aspects.
The seminar was chaired by Ajay Pathak, Executive Member of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy and senior politician. In the poetry conference, senior poets of humorous sentiments Dr. Pramod Shukla and Prof. Neeraj Vyas, Surendra Harde and Vinod Nayak of Veer Ras and lyricists Prof. Ravishankar Kolte and Dr. Nandlal Chaudhary mesmerized the audience by giving brilliant performances. College Director Durga Das Jichkar welcomed all the guests with a bouquet of flowers. Executive member of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy, Vijendra Batra conducted the stage effectively. Social worker Sunita Mahalle, college principal Rupali Janvjal and school principal Preeti Chaurasia were prominently present. In the end, the program coordinator and executive member of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy, Jagdish Thapliyal expressed his gratitude to everyone.
