
The “Mega Ryan Minithon 2025,” one of the largest and most popular minithons for school students in the country, was successfully held in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, 9th November, 2025, with 10,605 students from 24 schools in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai enthusiastically participating.

Briefing this information, Mrs. Pramila Sharma, the chief representative of the organizing institution & a senior Mumbai-based literary figure, stated that the “Mega Ryan Minithon 2025” was organized as the 218th race for school students under the auspices of the Ryan Group of Institutions, guided by the Chairman of St. Xavier’s and the management of the Ryan International Group of Institutions. The race was flagged off from Ryan International School, Nerul, by Director Dr. Snehal Pinto along with local councilor Ravindra Ithape, Mrs. Surekha Ithape, Shubham Vanmali, Ranveer Singh, Sujit Ashok Gadkari, Jahnavi Shetty, Priyanka Sujeesh, Kiran Anchan, and Vishal Yadav. They were joined by Aryan Kamlesh Shirke, Akhlaaq Khan, Komal Kamble, Pooja Dhamal, Harsh Agarwal, Namoh Uniyal, Sanjog Gadkari, Chanpreet Singh Bhui, Shubham Gaur, Pratik Thakur, Ms. Sugandha Hamilton, Jose Jacob, Avinash Ashok Tambe, Supriya Thakur, Dr. Saurabh Sawant, Viraj Nimunkar, Munesh Pujari and Pallavi Kothawade. Following the well-established tradition of the Ryan Group of Schools, guests from various walks of life also planted trees after the launch of the Mega Ryan Minithon 2025. Sports enthusiasts from under-12 to under-18, wearing PT uniforms, ran along the marathon route, accompanied by a continuous human chain of teachers from all participating schools.

Ryan International Group of Institutions has been organizing such races in Bengaluru, Delhi, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Surat, Jalna, Jaipur, and Navi Mumbai since 1998 to foster a sports culture in the country. This initiative is a favorable initiative to prepare young students for national and international sporting events. Each year, an average of 70,000 students and over 350 institutions participate. Dr. A.F. Pinto, Chairman of the Group, stated that this minithon serves as a positive inspiration for athletes across India and fosters a passion for sports among young people. Winners from various age groups in the minithon were awarded at a glittering ceremony attended by several distinguished guests. The second session of the program was an entertainment program organized by the various participating schools for the invited dignitaries. The program began with the Lord’s Prayer, Bible readings, and prayer songs. Xavier’s High School SSC, Goregaon, won the championship trophy of the 26th Ryan Minithon 2025 in the Navi Mumbai division by scoring 62 points. St. Lawrence High School SSC, Borivali, came second with 32 points, and St. Xavier’s High School SSC, Naigaon, came third with 18 points. Six prizes were given to students in each category. The championship trophy was decided based on the total points from each race.
