The spirit of Navratri-2025 came alive on October 1st as the Shiv Ananta Parivar successfully organized a vibrant and imaginative Fancy Dress Competition. Embracing the theme “Heroes around Us & Epics,” participants celebrated a rich tapestry of inspirational figures, ranging from revered deities like Shiv Bhagvan, Maa Durga, and Shree Krishna to historical legends like Chatrapati Shivaji and contemporary role models like Teachers and Cricketers. The creativity on display was truly spectacular, featuring costumes and portrayals of characters such as Shree Radha, Shrinathji, Rani Padmavati, Master Chef, and even popular fictional figures like Roohbaba and Chota Pandit. The judging panel faced a tough decision given the high caliber of effort and unique interpretations.
Ultimately, the top honors were awarded to: Sanket Rana for a striking portrayal of Ardhnareshwar (1st Prize), Koshika Prakash who captivated as Maa Durga (2nd Prize), and Pihu Sharma for her elegant depiction of Rani Padmavati (3rd Prize). The event successfully blended cultural reverence with festive celebration, highlighting the enduring power of heroes in our lives.
