Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd., the flagship incubator of the globally diversified Adani Portfolio, today inaugurated an extended check-in hall at Terminal 2. This expansion will make the check-in process quicker for passengers travelling abroad and cater to the anticipated festive rush during the upcoming Diwali and New Year period.
The extended departure check-in hall, spanning over 2100 square metres, will feature new vestibules at Gates 1 and 2 for entry into the area, 20 state-of-the-art check-in counters, and two self-baggage drop machines, enhancing the travel experience for both international and domestic passengers. Additionally, the area will house 4 Common Use Self-Service (CUSS) kiosks for self-check-in and baggage tag printing.
With this extended check-in hall, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport reaffirms its commitment to ensuring smooth passenger journeys and modernising its infrastructure to establish the Ahmedabad airport as a major aviation hub.
