Mumbai, 15th September. The City Official Language Implementation Committee, Navi Mumbai has set a new record by receiving the first place Rajbhasha Shield and Commendation Certificate of the Narakas Rajbhasha Samman Award for doing excellent work in official language implementation under the category of City Official Language Implementation Committees of ‘B’ region at the all India level during the year 2023-24. It is noteworthy that Narakas, Navi Mumbai has received this important award for the sixth time.
Under this prestigious award, Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs, India, honoured Narakas, Navi Mumbai’s Chairman and Konkan Railway CMD Santosh Kumar Jha and City Official Language Implementation Committee’s Member Secretary Satyendra Kumar Shukla by presenting the first place Official Language Shield and Commendation Certificate of Narakas Official Language Samman at ‘Hindi Day and Fourth All India Official Language Conference’ organized at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on Sunday, 15th September, 2024. It is noteworthy that Konkan Railway has been ensuring the important responsibility of operating Narakas, Navi Mumbai for the last seven years.
