On the occasion of the closing day of the dignified ceremony of Gaanprabha Hridayesh Music Festival organized in the presence of about three thousand spectators in the huge courtyard of Tilak Vidyalaya in Vile Parle, the fourth issue of the continuously popular quarterly literary magazine “Srujanika” was released by the Chief Guest of the program, Maharashtra’s Information Technology and Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar.
Dr. Amrish Sinha, Editor of “Srujanika”, briefed him in detail about the completion of one year of this magazine and its successful literary journey. While praising the literary contributions of “Srujanika” magazine, Mr. Shelar said that both literature and culture make the society sensitive and prosperous. At the time of launch, apart from artists of various genres, activists associated with the music conference were also present on the stage. This was the 34th annual conference organized by Hridayesh Arts Sansthan. The president of the organization, Avinash Prabhavalkar, told that this classical music conference is organized every year by the organization, which has the title of the biggest music conference of Mumbai. On the third day of this morning-evening event being held for three days, Padma Vibhushan flute player Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia paid a heartfelt floral tribute to social worker and senior classical singer Dr. Prabha Atre on her first death anniversary. The Jugalbandi of popular flute player Rupak Kulkarni and singer Jaytirth Meundi was appreciated by the audience whole heartedly. All the audience was drenched in joy on the performance of expert and renowned singer Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar. Earlier, Ashish Shelar paid tribute to Dr. Prabha Atre and threw light on her cultural and social life. Also, he shared his memories with her with the audience. The audience became emotional after listening to him.
