Mumbai, 12th August. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Goswami Tulsidas ji, the Tulsidas Jayanti celebrations were successfully organized on Sunday, 11th August, 2024 under the joint aegis of Maharashtra Rajya Hindi Sahitya Academy and Akhil Brahmavigyan Sansthan at Sharda Gyanpeeth Auditorium, Malad suburb of Mumbai Metropolitan.
In the ceremony, Dr. Sheetla Prasad Dubey, Working President of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy said that for the prestige of Indian values, along with celebrating the birth anniversaries of famous poets, litterateurs and artists, there is a need to imbibe their thoughts, feelings and life values in our behavior. He said that Goswami Tulsidas emphasized on meaningfulness, value and metrical discipline in poetry and human life. He gave an incomparable formula for the promotion of Indian culture and Sanatan values, which is a source of inspiration for us even today. In the ceremony, Shribhagwan Tiwari, Devendra Tiwari, Shriram Pal and Anil Mishra threw light on the literature of Goswami Tulsidas. Yogacharya Bharatendu delighted all the people present by playing Shri Ram tune on the flute. In the ceremony which began with Swasti Vachan by Acharya Ramvyas Upadhyay and Saraswati Vandana by Dr. Roshni Kiran, Avnish Singh, Reema Rai Singh, Shashikala Patel, Archana Upadhyay, Sunita Singh, Omprakash Dubey etc. presented research papers. Shriman Bhati described this joint event of the Academy and the Institute as a ceremony of the prestige of social, cultural and Indian values.
