AAP State President Isudan Gadhvi, reacting to the atrocities committed on Shankaracharya Shri Avimukteshwaranandji, stated that the BJP is not a party, it is a corporate company that has taken up the contract of selling certificates to everyone. The atrocities committed on Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Avimukteshwaranandji and his disciples on 18/01/2026 during Mauni Amavasya in Prayagraj are a matter of concern for Hindu society and Sanatan Dharma. The police and administration stopped Shankaracharya and his disciples from bathing, stopped the palanquin, and the atrocities committed by pulling their disciples by the hair have hurt the sentiments of all Hindus. These atrocities against Shankaracharya and his disciples are not merely a personal attack, but a severe blow to the universally accepted values of Hindu society and Sanatan tradition. The BJP has now become a corporate company in the name of Hindutva and nationalism. The BJP has started playing with people’s sentiments in the name of Mother Cow, Hindu culture, and Sanatan Dharma. Are they now asking even Shankaracharya for certificates of Hindu faith? Who are you? First show your own certificate of nationalism. The Aam Aadmi Party has registered protests at various places in support of Shankaracharya.
AAP leader Isudan Gadhvi further stated that I request RSS, Bajrang Dal, and VHP that when the BJP is committing atrocities on our Shankaracharyas, you too should unite and raise your voice in support of Shankaracharyaji. Today it is one Shankaracharya, tomorrow there will be another, and then all of us will also have to give certificates of being Hindus. This is not only an attack on Shankaracharya, but an attack on our Hindu faith and on future generations as well. I request all social organizations, saints, artists, and all followers of Sanatan Dharma to raise their voice together in support of Shankaracharyaji.
