Mumbai, 20 December. The Annual Festival of Rajasthani Mahila Mandal High School was concluded with great gaiety and grandeur at Tejpal Hall in Mumbai.
The ceremony began with Saraswati Vandana presented by the students. At the outset, the Chief Guest Mrs. Sunita Agarwal was warmly welcomed by the President of Rajasthani Mahila Mandal Mrs. Lata Rungta. The Principal of the Secondary Department of the school Mrs. Zahida Khambati presented the Annual Report, which outlined the academic and co-curricular achievements of the students during the year 2024. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, in which students from Nursery to Class X were awarded and felicitated for their unique achievements.
The Best Teacher Award was presented to Mrs. Namrata More, while the Best Student Award was given to Paras Andhale of Class X. The Best House Trophy for the academic session 2023-24 was awarded to Gandhi House for their outstanding performance. The cultural programme presented on the occasion was themed “Cultural Dances of India” which mesmerized the audience.
Apart from the melodious renditions of Saraswati Vandana and Ganesh Vandana by the students of Class X, Mangala Gauri and Puppet Dance by Pre-Primary students, Manipuri Dance by Class V students, Sattriya Dance by Class I & II students, Mohaniyattam Dance by Class III & IV students, Odissi Dance by Class VI students, Bharatanatyam Dance by Class VII students, Kathak Dance by Class VIII students and Ghoomar and Garba Dance by Class IX students were the main attractions of the function.
The function concluded with a spectacular finale dance by the staff members and with the National Anthem. The function was a grand celebration of the talents of the students and cultural diversity, showcasing the school’s commitment to holistic education.
